"Ho Ho Ho!"
Santa Claus
We flew to Paris for the week before Christmas and will be flying back to Italy in the morning (Christmas morning.) Jacque Frost has been nipping like a mad dog but, hey, we're in Paris. The Champs-Élysées, as usual, is much to my liking.
As daughter Catherine likes to say, "Mom likes bright, shiny things" and that famous boulevard didn't disappoint. We even saw Santa Claus strolling along the sidewalk.

BUT, best of all, grandson Jonathan arrived from the Naval Academy in Annapolis to spend his holiday with us. We forced marched him through the City of Light to the Eiffel Tower,
Notre Dame,
The Louvre,
several Xmas markets, several of our favorite restaurants and too many Metro rides to count.

(He's sleeping right now.) His parents and brother will join the three of us in Italy on the 26th. Without further ado here are a few more photos of our Paris holiday.
Hope the season finds you happy and well and the new year brings you all
good things.
